If you are adding a DWR that is similar to another DWR already in the system, you can save the time it would take to enter all the DWR information by creating a copy of the existing DWR and then making any minor changes required.
Note: The information copied in this process depends on the settings for a variety of agency options. See your System Administrator for more information about which fields are copied at your agency.
Follow these steps to make a copy of a DWR:
Click the Daily Work Reports link in the Construction component.
On the Daily Work Report Overview, locate the DWR you want to copy by typing criteria in the Quick Find search box or clicking Show first 10.
For the DWR you want
to copy, select Copy from
the row Actions menu.
The system sets the DWR
Date to the current date and the Inspector
to the current user. You can modify these values if needed.
Click Save.
The system adds the new DWR to the
list of DWRs for the contract. Fields
contain values copied from the source DWR, with the following exceptions:
The DWR Status
field is automatically set to Draft.
The Entered
By field is automatically set to your User ID and Name.
