To maintain a district county, click anywhere in that district county's row. The system highlights the row in blue and displays information in labeled fields. You can change the Effective Date and the Inactive Date.

When you have finished making changes to the district, click the Save button to apply your changes to the system (including deleted information). The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.

Adding District Counties

To add a new county to the district, click the Select Counties button. The system displays a modal window for selecting counties to add to the district. Follow these steps to add one or more counties to the district:

  1. Enter an effective date for the new district county in the Effective Date field. You can use the calendar feature to select the correct date or type the date directly in the field.

  2. Type criteria in the Quick Find search box to locate the county you want to add or click Show first 10. The system lists all the counties that meet your search criteria in rows. Each row contains the County ID and Description.

  3. Click a county's row to select it and click the Add to District button. You can select as many counties as you wish.

The system closes the modal window and takes you to the District Summary component with the new district county (or counties) added to the list.
