Maintaining OJT Program Skill Sets

Each on-the-job training (OJT) program includes one or more skill sets that an applicant is required to have for admission to that program.

The Skill Sets tab of the Reference OJT Program Summary component contains an accordion list of all the recorded skill sets for the OJT program. Each row displays a Delete button and current values for the OJT Craft ID and OJT Class ID fields.

To maintain a skill set, click anywhere in the row to expand the row and display all the available information. You can add and change information in these fields:

To add a new skill set to the OJT program, click the New button. The system adds a new row at the bottom of the list of skill sets. All fields in the new row are blank. To create a new skill set, you must enter information in the OJT Craft ID and OJT Class ID fields. Enter information in other fields as needed.

To delete a newly added row, click the Delete button at the end of the row. The system deletes the row immediately.

To delete a saved skill set, select Delete from the Actions menu on the skill set row. The system shades the row gray and marks it for deletion. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.

When you are finished making changes, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
