Assigning Resource Access Rights to a Role

The Assign Role Access Rights component allows you to assign access rights to the associated role for a variety of elements and features available in the system. To go to the Assign Role Access Rights component, click the Assign Role Access Rights quick link on the Role Summary component.

The Assign Role Access Rights component opens on the Resources tab, which contains a list of all the resources that may be assigned to the role. For each resource, you can select a check box to determine whether a user with that role has the right to View, Add, Update, or Delete the resource.

To assign additional access rights to the role, click the following tabs:

Restricted Fields	Click this tab to assign and change the rights of the user role to access restricted fields. For more information, see Assigning Restricted Fields Access Rights to a Role.
Selection Criteria	Click this tab to set limitations on the resources the role can access. For more information, see Assigning Selection Criteria Access Rights to a Role.
Reports	Click this tab to define which reports the role is allowed to view and generate. For more information, see Assigning Report Access Rights to a Role.
Custom Reports	Click this tab to define which custom reports the role is allowed to view and generate. For more information, see Assigning Custom Report Access Rights to a Role.
Processes	Click this tab to define which processes the role is allowed to execute. For more information, see Assigning Process Access Rights to a Role.
Custom Processes	Click this tab to define which custom processes the role is allowed to execute. For more information, see Assigning Custom Process Access Rights to a Role.
Interfaces	Click this tab to define which interfaces the role is allowed to access. For more information, see Assigning Interface Access Rights to a Role.
File Imports	Click this tab to define which file imports the role is allowed to execute. For more information, see Assigning File Import Access Rights to a Role.
