Adding a Qualification

Qualifications are maintained as reference information and associated with the person records of samplers, testers, calibrators, welders, and storm inspectors. Qualifications are also associated with the laboratories and test equipment used by agencies for material quality assurance.

To add a new qualification to the system, select Add from the Actions menu on the Qualification Overview component header.

The Add Qualification component opens on the General tab, where you can add general information for the new qualification. From this component you can also add the tests associated with the qualification.

To create a new qualification, you must enter information in this required field:

It is not required, but you can enter information in the following fields to record additional information about the qualification:

When you are finished adding information, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that the new qualification was saved in the database.

To add tests to the new qualification, click the following tab:

 

Qualification Tests

Click this tab to add the tests associated with this qualification (see Adding Tests to a Qualification).
