Note: Depending on an agency option setting, some agencies may allow information for more than one day to be included in a daily diary.
The Add Daily Diary component allows you to create a new daily diary for the contract. There are two ways to access the Add Daily Diary page:
Navigate to the Diaries tab on the Contract Progress Summary component for the contract and click the Add button.
Navigate to the Daily Diary Overview and choose Select Contract to Add Daily Diary from the Actions menu on the component header. For more information, see Managing Daily Diaries.
To save a new diary, you must enter information in this field:
It is not required, but you can enter information in these fields to record additional information about the diary:
You can add any number of remarks to the daily diary in the Remarks box. To record a remark, first select the type of remark from the Type field, and then enter explanatory text in the Remarks text box. You can delete any remark by clicking the Delete button to the right of the remark.
Click Save when you are finished. The system takes you to the Contract Daily Diary Summary for the new diary and displays a message to confirm the new diary was saved (see Maintaining a Daily Diary).
The Add Daily Diary component also displays general information about the diary. This information is for reference only and cannot be changed:
