A Work Location is an area in which a vendor has indicated he is able and available to provide supplies or services on agency projects.
The Work Locations tab on the DBE Summary component contains all the work locations that have been recorded for the vendor, organized into separate sections for each type of work location. Each section contains an accordion list of all recorded work locations of that type. You can add, change or delete location information within each section.
A vendor statewide work location indicates that the vendor is able to provide supplies or services on agency projects throughout the entire state. The Statewide Locations section contains all the statewide locations that are currently recorded for the reference vendor.
Each row represents one statewide work location record and displays the current values for the Effective Date, Inactive Date and Comments fields.
To change the information in a statewide work location record, click anywhere in that location's row. The system highlights the row and displays information in labeled fields. You can view or change information in these fields:
To add a new statewide location for this vendor, click the New button. For more information, see Adding a Vendor Statewide Location.
A vendor county work location indicates that the vendor is able to provide supplies or services on agency projects throughout the reference county. The County section contains all the county work locations that are currently recorded for the reference vendor.
Each row represents one vendor county record and displays current values for the Reference County ID and Reference County fields and a Delete button.
To change the information in a vendor county record, click anywhere in that county's row. The system highlights the row and displays information in labeled fields. You can view or change information in these fields:

Note: You cannot add a vendor county work location if the statewide work location is active for this vendor.
A vendor district work location indicates that the vendor is able to provide supplies or services on agency projects throughout the reference district. The District section contains all the district work locations that are currently recorded for the reference vendor.
Each row represents one vendor district record and displays current values for the Reference District ID and Effective Date fields and a Delete button.
To change the information in a vendor district record, click anywhere in that district's row. The system highlights the row and displays information in labeled fields. You can view or change information in these fields:

A vendor region work location is a division of territory within a state or district (defined by your agency) throughout which the vendor is able to provide supplies or services on agency projects. The Region section contains all the region work locations that are currently recorded for the reference vendor.
Each row represents one vendor region record and displays current values for theĀ Reference Region Name and Effective Date fields and a Delete button.
To change the information in a vendor region record, click anywhere in that region's row. The system highlights the row and displays information in labeled fields. You can view or change information in these fields:

Note: You cannot add a vendor region work location if the Statewide work location is active for this vendor.
When you have finished maintaining work locations, click the Save button to apply your changes to the system (including deleted information). The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
