Maintaining Test Equipment Information

The Test Equipment Overview lists all of the test equipment reference data in the system. To access the overview, click the Test Equipment link in the Reference Data component.

Each row represents one piece of test equipment. Each row includes an Actions button and current values in these fields:

To delete a test equipment record from the system, select Delete from the Actions menu on the equipment row. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button. To save your changes, click the Save button.

To add a new piece of test equipment to the system, select Add from the Actions menu on the component header. The system takes you to the Add Test component. See Adding Test Equipment for more information.

To view or change additional information for a piece of test equipment, select Open Test Equipment from the Actions menu on the equipment row, or click the Description link. The system takes you to the Test Equipment Summary. See Maintaining Test Equipment for more information.

To view additional information about the lab unit associated with this test equipment, select Open Lab Unit from the Actions menu on the equipment row, or click the Lab Unit link. The system takes you to the Lab Summary. For more information, see Maintaining a Reference Lab.
