Before remarks can be recorded for any entity, a remark configuration must be created for it.
When you click the Remark Configuration link in the Reference Data component, the system takes you to the Reference Remark Configuration Overview component where you can add, change, and delete remark configuration settings.
Expand a remark configuration to display the available information. Each row includes an Actions button and current values in these fields:
You can add or change information in any field except Active.
To add a new remark configuration to the system, select Add from the Actions menu on the component header. The system adds a new blank row. To save a new row, you must enter values in the Entity and Type fields.
Note: Use caution when configuring remarks to be required for the DWR or DSR entities. Daily Work Reports and Daily Source Reports cannot be deleted if they include remarks. If you configure remarks to be required, DWRs and DSRs cannot be deleted. To enable deletion of DWRs and DSRs, the remark configuration must be modified so that remarks are no longer required.
When you are finished, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
