Maintaining Product Groups

A product group is a category of material products, such as aggregate products or curing seal products. The Product Group Overview displays a rolling list of all the product groups recorded in the system.

You can locate a specific product group by typing criteria in the Quick Find search box, or by clicking Show first 10. The system displays a list of rows for all the product groups that match your search criteria.

You can view or change information in these fields:

Click in a field and add, change, or delete information as needed.

To delete a product group, select Delete from the Actions menu on the product group row.

To add a new product group, click the New button. The system adds a new row with blank fields at the bottom of the list. To save a new product group row, you must enter a name and description.

When you are finished, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
