The Adjustments tab in the Reference Price Index Summary component lists all the adjustments associated with this price index. An adjustment record can be created for each reference item that uses the item price being tracked by the price index. For example, if the price index tracks the price of fuel, a separate adjustment record can be created for each reference item that uses fuel. These adjustment records can then be used to adjust payment amounts if needed when the items are actually used for contract work.
Each row includes an Actions button and values for these fields:
Click in a field and add, change, or delete information as needed.
To delete an adjustment record, select Delete from the Actions menu on the history row. The system shades the row gray to indicate it is marked for deletion. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.
To add a new adjustment record, click the New button. The system adds a new row to the bottom of the list with all the fields blank. Enter information about the new price adjustment as needed.
Click the Save button to apply your changes. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
