The Qualifications tab on the Material Category Summary component contains a list of all the sampling qualifications recorded for the material category. All of the qualifications for a material category must have a Qualification Category of Sampling.
Each row contains an Actions button and current values for the following fields:
To change information for a qualification, click anywhere in that row. You can change the Effective Date, Expiration Date, or Status.
To change additional information, click the ID link, or select Open from the Actions menu on the qualification row. The system takes you to the qualification Summary. For more information, see Changing a Qualification.
To remove a qualification from this material category, select Delete from the Actions menu on the qualification row. The system shades the row gray to indicate it is marked for deletion. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.
When you are finished making changes, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved.
To add one or more sampling qualifications to the material category, follow these steps:
Go to the Qualifications tab on the Material Category Summary, and click the Select Sampling Qualifications button.
The system displays a modal window for selecting sampling qualifications.
Locate the sampling qualification you want to add by typing criteria in the Quick Find search box or click Show first 10.
The system lists all the sampling qualifications that meet your search criteria.
Click the row for each qualification you want to add.
The system adds a check mark beside each qualification you select and shades the row. To cancel a selection, click the selected row again.
Click the Add to Material Category button.
The system closes the modal window and adds the new qualifications to the list on the Qualifications tab of the Material Category Summary.
When you are finished making changes to qualifications for the material category, click the Save button.
The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
