Maintaining Lab Calibrators

  1. Adding a Lab Calibrator

The Lab Calibrators tab on the Lab Summary component contains a list of all the calibrators recorded for the lab. To locate a specific calibrator for the lab, you can enter criteria in the Quick Search field, or click Show First 10.

Each lab calibrator row contains an Actions button and current values for the following fields:

To delete a calibrator from the lab, select Delete from the Actions menu on the lab calibrator row. To reverse the deletion, click the Undo button.

When you are finished making changes, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.

To view the qualifications recorded for a calibrator, click the Last Name link for the calibrator. The system takes you to the Calibrator tab on the Person Qualifications Summary component, where you can view and maintain calibrator qualifications for the selected person. Adding a Lab Calibrator

To add one or more calibrators to the lab, perform these steps:

  1. On the Lab Calibrators tab on the Lab Summary, click the Select Lab Calibrators button.

    The Select Lab Calibrators modal window displays rows of qualified calibrators.

  2. Select the row for each person you want to add to the lab as a calibrator.

    The system adds a check mark beside each row you select. To cancel a selection, click the selected row again.

  3. When you are finished selecting calibrators, click the Add to Lab button.

    The system closes the modal window and adds the new calibrators to the list on the Lab Calibrators tab.

  4. When you are finished, click the Save button.

    The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved.
