Maintaining Component Materials

The Component Materials tab on the Materials Summary contains a list of all the materials that together make up the reference material. Each row contains an Actions button and current values for the following fields:

• Material

• Effective Date

• Expiration Date

• Status

• Active

Click in field and add, change, or delete information as required.

To delete a component material, select Delete from the Actions menu on the component material row. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.

To add a new component material, click the New button. The system adds a new blank to the list of component materials. Enter information as needed.

When you are finished making changes, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
