Maintaining Budget Class Mappings
The Budget Class Mapping component lists associations made between budget classes and reference funds for estimation purposes. Budget classes originate from a code table and are used to group cost estimate items into high-level budget groups.
You can access the component by clicking the Budget Class Mapping link in either the Reference Data component or the Estimation Reference Data Overview component.
Each row represents one mapping between a budget class and a reference fund. Each row includes an Actions button and values in these fields:
Click in a field and add, change, or delete information as needed.
To add a new mapping, click the New button. The system adds a new empty row to the list. Enter or select values in the Budget Class and Fund fields as needed.
To delete a mapping, select Delete from the Actions menu on the mapping row. To reverse the delete action, click the Undo button.
When you are finished, click the Save button. The system displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved in the database.
