Installing AASHTOWare Project Updates

If the AASHTOWare Project software is already installed on an agency server, you can install an updated version without uninstalling the old version by running the provided InstallShield program. Any IIS configuration you performed in a previous installation will not be changed. The update process automatically uses the same folder used in the previous installation.

Generating the Business Metadata after Updates

When your agency updates web-based AASHTOWare Project to a new version, you may need to regenerate the custom business metadata for specific entities in order to add the information needed for new fields that have been added in the application. You will only need to do this if you have previously customized the business metadata file manually.
