Creating a Concept from a Project

To save time, you can create a new concept by copying the information from a Preconstruction project into the new concept record.

Follow these steps to copy a project to a concept:

1. Navigate to the Project Overview component and locate the project you want to copy.

2. Select Copy to Concept from the Actions menu on the project's row.
   
   The system takes you to the Copy Project to Concept component. All fields contain values copied from the source project.

3. Click in the New Concept ID field and type a unique ID for the new concept.

4. Click the Copy button.

The system validates the new Concept ID and adds the new concept to the system.
