If you want to create a new agency view that is similar to an existing one, you can begin by copying the agency view. When you copy an agency view, all of the controls and user interface elements it contains are also copied. You can choose whether to copy any associations between the agency view and other entities.
To copy an agency view, click the Agency Views link in the System Administration component, locate the agency view you want to copy, and the select Copy from the Actions menu on the view row. The system takes you to the Copy Agency View component with information from the original agency view displayed in these fields:
Click in a field, and change information as needed. To save the new agency view, you must enter a unique value in the Name field.
If you want to copy the agency view's associations with other entities, such as tests, contracts, or DWR reference items, select the Copy Agency View Associations check box. For all copied associations, the system clears the value in the Effective Date, Expiration Date, and Status fields.
When you are finished, click the Copy button. The system displays the new agency view on the Agency View Summary and displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved.
You must update any existing references to the original agency view name with the new name for the copied agency view. Review the On Create field and any calculations in the Controls section, and update the agency view name as needed.
