Code Tables

The system manager is responsible for creating appropriate codes and descriptions for each code table. Code descriptions can be up to 256 characters long. All code values have a maximum length of 20 characters.

The topics below provide descriptions and sample code values for each code table, as well as tables showing which data fields use the code table (click a blue link to go to that topic). If a code table must contain certain code values for system processing, these values are identified with a note.

• Note: Administrators can create agency Help for a code table component to define any new code tables your agency adds or to provide additional instructions if your agency uses a base code table for a different purpose (for more information, see Creating Agency Help for a Component).
