Checking in a Proposal from Estimator

After updating the pricing information for a proposal in Estimator (see Checking Out a Proposal to Estimator), you will need to check the file back in. This enables you and other users to continue to manage the proposal in Preconstruction.

Note: You can only check in a proposal if you are logged on with the same username used to check out the proposal, and only if you checked it out using the Checkout to Estimator XML process (that is, you cannot check in a proposal that was exported). If another user checked the proposal out, only that user (or your system administrator) can check it back in.

To check in a proposal from Estimator, select Import File from the Actions menu on the Menu Bar. For more information on executing this process, see Importing with the Data Loader.
