Checking Out a Proposal to Estimator

You can export proposal information from Preconstruction to Estimator to update only the pricing in an estimate. This process assigns the proposal to checked out status and prevents users from making changes to the proposal until you check it back in.

Note: You can only check out one proposal at a time. To be checked out, a proposal must contain items and cannot be locked.

To check out a proposal to Estimator, select Execute Process from the Actions menu on the Menu Bar. For more information about executing this process, see Executing Processes.
