Adding a Planning Group

The Add Planning Group component enables you to add a new planning group to the system. You can access the component by navigating to the Planning Group Overview and selecting Add from the Actions menu on the component header.

You can view or enter values in these fields:

To save the new planning group, you must enter values in the Planning Group, Description, Unit System, and Spec Book fields. After you save the new planning group, the Spec Book field cannot be modified.

When you are finished, click the Save button. The system takes you to the Planning Group Summary and displays a message to confirm that your changes were saved. See Maintaining a Planning Group for more information.
