Adding a Bid-Based Task

The Add Cost Estimate Item Bid Based Task component enables you to add a bid-based price task associated with the selected cost estimate item.

You can access the component by navigating to Item Pricing Worksheet or the Cost Estimate Items tab on the Cost Estimate Summary, clicking the Details button to the right of the Price field, and then clicking the Bid Based link.

Information about the associated cost estimate item is displayed at the top of the component in the Item Information section. You can view information in these fields:

In the Task Detail section, you can view or enter information in these fields:

In the Results section, these fields cannot be modified:

To save the new bid-based task, you must enter a value in the Task and Task Description fields. When you are finished, click the Save button. The system displays the new task on the Cost Estimate Item Bid Based Task Summary.
