Migrating Contract Data from SiteManager to Construction

Data migration is the process of moving data from one product database to another, usually for a product upgrade or relocation. A migration only transfers data that does not already exist in the target location. Once successfully migrated, data is managed in the new location and can no longer be managed in the source location.

The Migrate Contract Data from SiteManager interface migrates information on a contract-by-contract basis from client/server SiteManager to AASHTOWare Project Construction & Materials. This import is used for product upgrades or relocations.

The following contract information is included in this process: administrative offices; projects; project categories; contract items; contract project items; road segments; bridge segments; contract time information; contractor evaluations; meeting records; document submissions; stockpiles, transactions and transaction items; payment estimates, types, items, item funds, adjustments, projects, vouchers, notes, exceptions and approvals; contract claims; funds and fund packages; insurance; permits; progress schedules; retainage; subcontracts, subcontract items and subcontract project items; security accounts; change orders; contractors; vendor equipment, staff and personnel; DWRs and daily diaries; contract materials; action relationships and acceptance actions; samples; sample tests; and attachments.
