The Business Layer Application Settings Configuration file (that is, the appSettings.config file) contains configuration information that controls certain business functions in the system that can be customized by your agency. The configuration file resides in the WCFHOST directory within your installation directory.
The appSettings.config file contains these sections:
BusinessMetadataFile — Location of the BusinessMetadata.xml file
ReportMetadataFile — Location of the ReportMetadata.xml file
SystemInterfaceMetadataFile — Location of the SystemInterfaceMetadata.xml
AgencyUserStorageName — Agency User Storage Name
AgencyUserStorageType — Agency User Storage Type. Valid Values are AD for Active Directory, and ADLDS for Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services.
NonAgencyUserStorageName — Non Agency User Storage Name
NonAgencyUserStorageType — Non Agency User Storage Type. Valid Values are AD for Active Directory and ADLDS for Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services
InterfaceConfiguration — Location of the interfaceConfiguration.config file for PLC interfaces
SiteManagerInterfaceConfiguration — Location of the SiteManagerinterfaceConfiguration.config for Site Manager Interfaces
TaskSchedulerUserId — Task Schedule User Id for scheduling process and reports
TaskSchedulerPassword — Task Schedule User password for scheduling process and reports
NativeProcessesLocation — Location of the Native Processes Directory
CustomProcessesLocation — Location of the Custom Processes Directory for processes your agency creates
SupportFilesLocation — Location of the XSL transforms files
ModelUri — The Uri for the Model Service Host
EventLogName — The Event Log Name where errors, warnings and messages are stored
EventLogSource — The name of the source where the messages for event logging are generated
HregConnectionTimeout — The number of seconds until the connection with the HREG service times out. Default value is 100.
